I’ve been fortunate enough to be in the travel business for nearly 30 years now.  I started where everybody starts – the beginning.  I took the steps to become a travel agent, I worked for somebody else, I branched off to work for myself, and so on.  

And now, with hard work and dedication, I’m blessed enough to own my own award-winning travel agency, and to be able to help others start and grow their own successful travel businesses through Careers on Vacation.  By a lot of different measurements, you could say I’ve “made it” in the travel biz.  👍 👍  

But what if I had to start over?  🤔 

Well, I darn sure wouldn’t want to have to slog through the hard times, and I would want to achieve success as quickly as possible, and I’d want to keep my mistakes to a minimum.  That makes sense, right?  

So, knowing what I know now, what would I do differently if I had to start over again as a travel agent?    

I thought that was a very interesting question, and I’ve given it a lot of thought.  The answers I’ve come up with provide a path that shortcuts around three decades of trial and error and overcoming mistakes and takes you straight to the mountaintop.  And you can see the path in my latest 📽️ video, “If I Had To Start Over Again As A Travel Agent (What Would I Do Differently).”  

I’m grateful for my experience as a travel entrepreneur over the years.  Not every day has been ☀️ sunshine and 🍭 lollipops, but the experience as a whole has been tremendous.  And I’m glad to be able to pass along the lessons I’ve learned so that other travel pros like you can have success and abundance without having to learn all those lessons the hard way.
