Alright everybody, all together now, say it with me: “I am a travel agent!”
There! You did it! Congratulations! 🎓 🎉
You’ve just completed all the training and certification that’s required for you to become a professional in the travel industry. Which is to say, none. 🤨
Now, I know you’re excited about your magical transformation into a travel agent, but I’d like to suggest you do something before you start bringing in clients. Please, please, please get trained. Better yet, please get certified.
If your pipes burst and you have questionable water spraying up from your bathroom fixtures, who are you going to pick when you search for a plumber? Are you going to get the one that says, “Certified Plumbing Professional” on their info or the one that says “Declared Myself A Plumber?” 🪠
I made a 📽️ video all about the pros and cons of travel agent training and certification, and what Wanderlust Campus has to offer. It’s called “Certified Travel Agent Training,” and you can watch it at the link below.

Training and certification in the world of travel can be a tricky situation. A lot depends on whether you’re fully independent or subcontracting for a host agency. The bottom line is, while you don’t need to become a certified travel agent, you need to become a certified travel agent – if you want to be the best travel agent you can be, that is.
And if you want training and certification done the right way, you need to come to Wanderlust Campus. Hope to see you soon!
