Shelley is the owner of Smooth Winds Travel, an award-winning independent travel agency built on passion, flexibility, and a whole lot of joy. After retiring from owning her own dance studio in 2013 to focus on family life and raising her two children, Shelley found herself drawn back to a lifelong love of Disney and travel. In 2018, she joined a host agency as a way to do work she loved while still being present for her family, proof that dreams can fit beautifully into real life.
In 2021, Shelley stepped out on her own and founded Smooth Winds Travel with the support of Wanderlust Campus. Today, she leads a growing team of independent contractor travel agents, helping families travel smooth and empowering agents to build flexible, fulfilling careers. When it comes to travel, Shelley believes it should feel smooth, joyful, and a little bit magical.
